Step 1 Decide what you want
First, decide what you want to accomplish, and in what area of your lifestyle it falls under. Many people use the 5 pillars of a good life as a place to start with goal setting. The 5 pillars or categories that make up a good life are the following:
Step 2 Write it out
Write out what you want to accomplish as a clear goal. You can be as detailed or brief as you want. Specifics and quality is more important than quantity here.
Step 3 List the steps
Next, list all the steps required to make your goals a reality. Just write down every step you can think of doing. If your'e not sure of all the moving parts, that's okay because the priority is to get started.
Step 4 Use habits
Habits are the sum of the actions you do daily to achieve short term and long term goals. Good habits make you who you are or who you want to become. So, keep your goals top of mind by working on the list of steps.
Pretty simple, right? But it requires work. A lot of it - but you got this!
Step 5 Chunk it out
Break up your list of steps into chunks. Chunking your work or "batch-working" just means breaking down big steps into smaller ones over a series of hours, days or weeks.
Breaking up your action steps into smaller, more manageable parts will help you accomplish your goal.
